Pinto offers a lovely self contained annexe for Bed and Breakfast Nr. Tunbridge Wells Kent. It
has been awarded four stars by Quality In Tourism. It has its own entrance and is set in a quiet rural area
next to orchards and the Kent National golf club.
The lovely accomodation at Jane's bed and breakfast consists of a double bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower, large lounge/dining
room plus kitchen. Extra beds can be provided in the large lounge. You also have use of a patio area with
garden furniture. There is a colour television, DVD player, stereo, radio and tea making facilities. A hair
dryer, bath gowns and slippers are provided. Brenchley can be reached via a lovely walk across the golf
course (on a public footpath) that backs on to the house.
The pubs in Brenchley Kent are 'The Bull' and 'The Halfway House' and in the nearby village of Matfield are
'The Wheelwrights' and 'The Star'. There is also a very nice restaurant in Matfield called Morello's.
There is a bus stop at the end of the road (approx 400 yards) which goes to the nearest main towns of
Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge, each about 15 minutes away. There is also a mainline railway station about 20
minutes walk from the house with frequent direct services into London (takes about 50 mins).
The Annexe at Pinto is situated in the heart of the Kent countryside, about a mile from the picturesque
village of Brenchley in a quiet location with off road parking. We are only six miles from Royal Tunbridge
Wells and are surrounded by many National Trust properties including Scotney, Sissinghurst and Bodiam Castles,
Knole, Emmetts Garden, and Chartwell. We are also close to Bewl Water offering sailing and fishing and lots
for children to do both there and at the local Hop Farm. Hever Castle, the home of Anne Boleyn, and Penshurst
Place are both nearby. The historic town of Hastings is only 45mins away as are other interesting seaside
towns.
You will receive a warm welcome whether you are here for just one night or for a few days away in this
beautiful corner of Kent called 'The Garden of England'. We welcome cyclists and walkers. We have a no smoking
policy and do not accept pets.
